Black Ops Cold War: Patch Notes zu Season 5 Update 1.20 | Neue Inhalte, Balancing-Anpassungen, Verbesserungen
Am Freitag startet “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” in Seaon 5. Im Zuge dessen stellt Treyarch ein neues Titel-Update für den Shooter bereit, welches die neuen Inhalte, aber auch einige Balancing-Anpassungen für die Waffen und Verbesserungen mit sich bringt. Zu den neuen Inhalten zählen neue Karten für den Mehrspieler, eine neue Location für den Zombiemodus “Ausbruch”, neue Waffen, eine neue Punkteserie und einiges mehr. Nachfolgend haben wir für euch die vollständigen Patch Notes (englisch) und eine kurze Zusammenfassung in der Übersicht.
PATCH NOTES – Update 1.20 – Season 5
Zu den neuen Inhalten von Update 1.20 zählen die neuen Karten Echelon (6v6), Slums (6v6) und Showrom (2v2, 3v3). Darüber hinaus wurden die neuen Waffen EM2 (Sturmgewehr), TEC-9 (eine MP mit 3-Schuss-Semiautomatik, die mit Aufsätzen auf Vollautomatik umgerüstet werden kann) und der Gehstock (Nahkampfwaffe) hinzugefügt. Im Zombie Modus erwarten euch neue Easter Eggs in Mauer der Toten, das neue Perk: Todeswahrnehmung, die Feldausrüstung: Teslasturm und der Flammenwerfer als neue Unterstützungswaffe. Außerdem könnt ihr euch über Ausbruch-Inhalte freuen. Darunter die neue Region Kollateral, das neues Ziel Transport, der Panzer, der Kletterhaken und neue Geheimdaten. Wer den kostenpflichtigen Battle Pass kauft, erhält neben vielen neuen Skins, Glücksbringern und Bauplänen auch den neuen Operator: Kitsune für den Warschauer Pakt. Zu guter letzt gibt es zahlreiche neue Prestigestufen und Herausforderungen.

Weitere Änderungen
Schwerpunkt des Updates ist neben der Bereitstellung der neuen Inhalte unter anderem eine Anpassung der Waffenbalance. Hier wurden Sturmgewehre, SMGS und Dual Pistolen überarbeitet. Zu der geänderten Meta zählen Anpassungen an den Schadenswerten, Nachladezeiten, des Rückstoßes und mehr. Folgende Waffen erhielten eine Überarbeitung: XM4, QBZ, FFAR 1, Groza, Fara 83, C58, KSP 45, LC10 und alle Pistolen. Außerdem wurde auch die Kugelgeschwindigkeit aller Sturmgewehre reduziert. - New Season Five weapon tuning includes changes for a selection of assault rifles, SMGs, and Dual Wield pistols. Starting with assault rifles, we’ve reduced Suppressor attachment Bullet Velocity penalties for all ARs to better focus on their potential for damage at long ranges.

- Removed ADS Time penalty from 40 Rnd Speed Mag.

- Changed Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag attachment to 45 Rnd Fast Mag.
- Reduced ADS Time penalty on 45 Rnd Fast Mag from -25% to -12%.
- Replaced SAS Mag Clamp with unique “B-Ops Mini Clamp” attachment. This attachment increases Reload Quickness by 50%, improves ADS Time by 10%, and provides an additional starting magazine, but reduces magazine ammo from 30 to 25.
- Though the QBZ-83 is a solid performer, it’s been underused compared to the rest of its class. We’ve reduced its recoil to help more players explore this weapon, develop a feel for it, and find success with it in-game.

- Fade to black before Best Plays will now only occur in Multi-Team modes.
- Map and mode will now only be shown once all players have been found and the lobby has been locked in. Our intention is to show the map and mode that you will be playing and not to provide this info earlier to allow for “lobby shopping.”

- New upgradeable Perk now available in the Der Wunderfizz machine in all round-based maps and Outbreak.

- Players now take 25% less damage in shadow form.
- Cost has been removed from the Tombstone stash.
- Tesla Storm
- New Field Upgrade now available in all round-based maps and Outbreak.
- For 10 seconds, lightning connects to other players, stunning and damaging normal enemies.
- Skill Tier I – Double the damage dealt to enemies stunned by Tesla Storm.
- Skill Tier II – Increase the duration to 15 seconds.
- Skill Tier III – Special enemies can be stunned and damaged by Tesla Storm.
- Skill Tier IV – Players generating a field gain 25% increased movement speed.
- Skill Tier V – Elite enemies can be stunned and damaged by Tesla Storm.
- Flamethrower
- New Flamethrower Support Weapon available in all round-based maps and Outbreak.

- Addressed an issue where the screen was too dark when using the Cruise Missile Support, making it difficult to aim.

- Reduced max Essence for respawning players in round-based maps to 25,000. This will now cap out at Round 25 instead of Round 50.
